As you can see from below I live in the Atwater Place condominiums.

I am writing to express my concern about this project and the greenway to which it will be attached. I ride my bike frequently and would be using this improved greenway in front of these buildings often as a connector to the existing pedestrian/bicycle path at the Spaghetti Factory.

It is important to me that this greenway be developed with the highest standards possible to encourage use and provide the most possible SAFETY for pedestrians and bicyclists. I am told that Alamo Manhattan as refused efforts from Prosper Portland and Portland Parks and Recreation to ensure this — and this concerns me.

It would also be of great benefit to have access for public usage to the water (boat ramp/dock/etc.) which I do not believe is currently provided. Many people want to be able to launch kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and other aquatic devices — and currently we have just the one north of the Meriwether east.
