I am a resident in the South Waterfront, Meriwether West. My wife and I are original owners and we remember quite well the representations regarding views and green space. It is contrary to the original design concept to place high rise towers that close to the river. It is a broken promise to the residents of South Waterfront and Lair Hill. MORE IMPORTANTLY it appears to negatively impact erosion protection of the riverbank at the South East corner or the proposed design. It looks like the lines were gerrymandered to accommodate private living space at the expense of public greenspace. This is not right and should be reconsidered. How did we forget the original design precepts so easily?
