Invitation to Clark Center opening, floor plan of building, May - November 1997 and February 1998 issues of 'The Home Front', a newsletter reporting on the progress of construction of the shelter (dates not inclusive), news report on the shelter, documents regarding purchase of bunk beds for the facility, and Spring 1998 and Summer 1999 issues of 'Bridges' newsletter on Clark Center. As an historical resource, this item reflects the prejudices of the era in which it was created and includes language that is offensive. The use of this language is not condoned by The City of Portland Archives and Records Center, but we are committed to providing access to this material as evidence of the inequalities and attitudes of the time.
